DATES ANNOUNCED FOR EALING BOOK FESTIVAL 2026
West London book lovers can now mark their calendars for Ealing Book Festival 2026, which will run from Wednesday 29th April to Sunday 3rd May 2026. Full details of the 2026 programme will be published early next year and anyone wishing to be amongst the first to be notified when the programme is released and ticket sales go live should register for Ealing Book Festival updates here.
The Festival, which is entering its third year, is being extended to five days and will again feature talks from internationally renowned authors, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, guided walking tours, the ever-popular Local Authors’ Showcase, and a range of family-friendly activities. Festival events will be held at the University of West London and – for the first time – at the Questors Theatre.
After the success of the second Ealing Book Festival earlier this year, which attracted over 1,900 visitors to 24 inspiring events, Ealing Book Festival 2026 promises to build on this momentum by delivering another inspiring and dynamic celebration of literature, culture, and community.
Catherine Jaquiss, Chair, Ealing Book Festival, expressed her excitement for the 2026 Festival: “After setting West London abuzz with another incredible celebration of stories and ideas earlier this year, we’re ready to write the next instalment. To date, almost 3,500 people have attended Ealing Book Festival events and the 2026 Festival promises to be another vibrant celebration of books and writing in all their dazzling forms. We’re looking forward to introducing new venues to create more opportunities for audiences to engage, as well as enhancing our schools programme to inspire the next generation. We can’t wait to bring together readers and writers from Ealing and beyond to celebrate the magic of words and the connections they spark.”
Ealing Book Festival 2025 boasted an impressive line-up of writers including Hanif Kureishi, Elif Shafak, Andrew O’Hagan, Tracy Chevalier, Roger McGough, Abi Daré, Nussaibah Younis, Ben Pentreath and Konnie Huq, who spoke to an audience of over 170 pupils at the inaugural Ealing Book Festival schools event.
